Staff in Claremont House and Lodge in Caister enjoyed kicking off the Christmas festivities this year by celebrating the official Elf Day, organised by the Alzheimer’s Society. Individuals invited to dress up as elves for your day, to be able to support the #ElfDay and help increase awareness of dementia of the charity.
The home, which supplies a variety to the elderly has been delighted to get involved. Staff dressed, a special competition was “Guess the title of the elf”, and #45 was raised to the Alzheimer’s Society.
Home manager Christine Morgan said: “Congratulations to Mrs Collins, wife of one of Claremont’s residents who won the elf by imagining its title Edwardo! . Everybody had good fun, plus it was great to raise some cash for the Alzheimer’s Society — a charity that is close to our hearts in Claremont.”
