We love a deal. But in a tight housing market, real deals may seem increasingly tricky to discover. So leave the deal spotting to us!
We’ve previously scoured listings for homes beneath $500,000, also below $200,000. This time around we challenged ourselves to find out how low we could go–setting our funding at just 100 grand. And we weren’t enticed by shabby shacks. No, we wanted lookers which were discount delights.
We heard that homes priced way below the U.S. median listing price of $274,000 still need to offer up some real amenities: a great location, an upgraded interior, plenty of acreage, even some true style.
Amazingly, we believe that we have discovered eight perfect properties around the country that check many of the boxes. Yes, it is possible to buy a house for the cost of a kitchen remodel in certain areas of the country. Naturally, some of the homes could use a refresh rate, but because of its low, low list prices, you can purchase for a renovation.
Low on price, these listings are high on charm. Scroll down to check these out bargain-basement-priced homes.
