Home Ministry orders one guy probe into ‘staged experience’ of Assam
CRPF IG Rajnish Rai has alleged two guys in Assam were killed in a fake experience performed by the CRPF, Assam Police and Sashastra Seema Bal.
The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has ordered a probe into the allegations levelled by Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Inspector General Rajnish Rai, who at April requested a probe into the death of two guys in Assam, who he alleged had been killed in a fake experience performed by the CRPF, Assam Police and also the Sashastra Seema Bal.
The officer had been shunted out to Chitoor, Andhra Pradesh to the Counter Insurgency and Anti-Terrorism (CIAT) School of the CRPF at Chittoor later he alleged that the March 30 experience in Assam’s Chirang district has been “staged”.
Media advisor to MHA, Ashok Prasad was asked to submit a time-bound enquiry to the significant allegation levelled by the ranking officer.
Rai, who had been first posted in Shillong, in a letter dated April 17 marked to DG CRPF and other senior officers, also alleged that two guys, Lucas Narzary alias N. Langfa and David Islary alias Dayud, were picked up by a home in D-Kalling village and were murdered in Simlaguri village below the district Amguri police station.
